Sushi

Home again and looking through my pictures, I remember this meal as special. Every plate stands for a price. The most expensive is the red one. Every plate contains 3 sushi’s. The cheapest where the sushi’s with cucumber on a light blue plate and the most expensive the California rolls. We eat for 45 dollars include two green tea and one beer. This all in a sushi bar on Hamra street.

Here all the coffee places have access tointernet. As a business you have too otherwise no one comes to enjoy your coffee. Yesterday we were strolling around looking for a good coffee. My computer was at home and I don’t have an I- phone. So that means I could just sit and enjoy my coffee and look around me. And what I saw was this beautiful young girl who was extremely happy with her doll. She was totally in her game playing a young mother.

It reminds on a paper I wrote once.

“ Mini girls in Maxi dresses.”

It was in the time of the 80 eighties when you saw this images coming up. Small girls wearing the same outfit as their mother, walking next to her with her doll. It is very cute and the most people are very touched by this image. When we are young we learn the most from copying. It took years to uncopy myself!

Invitation Babel Theatre

Babel theater in Beirut

This afternoon I stood on the stage in the Babel theatre. The props of the piece -The Maid – of Jean Genet where still there. I put on a coat and started to talk. The talk you know when you are really fat up with somebody. Maze was my director and he let me do it for three times. Then the smoke came up. I hope if I have a next live I will be an actress and a singer. So I made hopefully good karma for this next change!

Wednesday we have our presentation here in the Babel Theater. Our house here is just around the counter from Haram street. It is a very big flat with a lot of paintings in it. This morning Maze and me took advantage of not having internet connection in the house. We just look at the ceiling and made our own stories. It is a nice experience and after our disappointment from not having internet connection and we are almost happy with it now.

In the mean time we are going on exploring Beirut.
